Power Grab was created for a solo show called “Horsepower” where I explore the themes between man’s desire for power and how that has contributed to our use and mis-use of horses. This painting shows the pick up rider at a rodeo making a grab at a powerful gray bronc horse after he’s bucked-off the cowboy.
The canvas is gallery wrapped and all sides are painted. It’s wired and ready to hang, and could be framed or hung as is. 48″x36″x1.5″
