This painting was inspired by the tireless work of wild horse advocates – artists, photographers, sanctuaries – who’s collective goal is humane treatment and management of our wild horses. The flowers in the wings represent these people, because they lift up our horses and give them hope. The name of the art is Guardian. It’s my hope that through my art I can add my voice and help create positive change through awareness and shift the way we treat our wild horses to that of dignity and kindness.

25% of the profits from this sale will go to the American Wild Horse Campaign, a nonprofit organization fighting to ensure the future of America’s iconic wild horses and burros and the Western public lands where they roam.
